PASTOR

Josh Mueller

Josh Mueller grew up in Southern Germany where he accepted the Lord in his young teens and was blessed to be mentored within a vibrant local youth program and able to participate in a few of the musical ministries of the church as well.  The close connection of his family and church to the Torchbearer Bible School Bodenseehof at Lake Constance would become instrumental later through the attendance of the school in 1988/89 where he met his wife Helen from Canada.  Josh received his theological training at the University of Tübingen and the evangelical Albrecht-Bengel-Haus from 1984-1990 and finished his Master of Divinity degree at Providence Seminary in Manitoba in 1995.

He has served churches in Ontario (Hamilton 1991-1994 / Toronto 1995-1999) before coming to Alberta where he served as Senior Pastor of Evangelical Fellowship Church from 1999 to 2021.  Josh and Helen were married in 1991 at North Kildonan Mennonite Brethren Church, Winnipeg, and have 3 grown daughters - Rebecca, Sabrina, and Amy.  In his free time, Josh enjoys reading, cooking, travelling, and several sports (triathlon, golfing, soccer, and pickleball as a newfound passion!).

Josh is excited about his new ministry as lead pastor of Rosemary Mennonite Church where he gets to be a part of a close-knit community and a congregation who is not only very gifted but also deeply committed to following Jesus and loving people in this rural setting.
